Fields: 4 & 5, at back of facility (mezzanine) near Blue Ox wall.
Another group will be on the field leading into the session; so there will be a transfer over right at 12:30 pm (previous group will wrap up before us at about 12:25pm and will instruct my coaches to bring your group onto the field in the corner). Locker room number 7 has been requested from MLSC manager for our group to congregate and stash stuff in prior to the session.
Spring Season Information Will be Updated by 01FEB2019
Welcome to the 2019 Spring season! This section will be updated with information on practice times, locations, start dates, etc for Boys Spring Lacrosse.
** Estimated Season Schedule **
Kindergarten will start sessions on Saturdays beginning either the last Saturday in March or first in April and we will start at 9am. Exact date TBD. We anticipate using AIM Academy again this season (1200 River Road).
1st/2nd grade team will practice one weeday (last year was Thursdays at from 6 PM to 7:30 PM) on the grass fields to the left of PWHS stadium. Weather permitting, we will start the last week of March 2019.Please allow at least 10 min for the kids to get suited up before practice. They will also have Saturday practice at AIM Academy (1200 river road) at 10 AM for the first few weeks of the season then transition to the Wisslax league. Details and exact dates will be updated as soon as we have them confirmed.
3rd/4th grade teams will practice 2x per week (last season was Tuesdays and Thursdays at from 6 PM to 7:30 PM) on the grass fields to the left of PWHS stadium. We will be playing a split schedule consisting of some "small sided" 7 vs. 7 games as well as full field 10 vs. 10. These games will start at the end of March.
5th/6th grade teams will practice 2x per week (last season was Tuesdays and Thursdays at from 6 PM to 7:30 PM) on the grass fields to the left of PWHS stadium. Registrations numbers, including number of new players, will determine how many teams we have and what "levels" we play in for our SEPYLA League games. Games will be on Saturdays starting the last weekend in March or the first weekend in April (details to follow once league releases schedule) We will attempt to work in a few Saturday AM practices before games begin.
7th/8th grade team will be determined once we have registration numbers confirmed. Due to the amount of activities kids are participating in at that age group plus some playing for their middle school teams, we anticipate practice 1 weekday and then games on Saturdays. Start dates will mirror 5/6th grade.
Practice Summary will be updated no later than 15FEB2019
** Goalies Wanted **
We have had a bit of a goalie shortage in recent years within all ages of the Bulldogs program.
We like to have at least two or three goalies at each age group so kids can take turns.
If anyone has a child interested in learning to play goalie, the club is in position to loan equipment and provide training to get them ready before the season begins.
We have several guys that played goalie at the collegiate level that are ready and willing to work kids - including small group sessions outside of practice.
This is a great opportunity to give the position a try without committing to the equipment expenditure or attempting to learn on the fly during the season.
Plenty of playing time available!
Please let us know if your son is interested.
** Volunteers Needed **
The Bulldogs program is run by volunteers - and is always looking for more. You don't even have to know anything about lacrosse to help out! If you are interested in any of the following, please drop me a line - and be sure to include the grade your son is in.
Team Management (scheduling/communication)
Coaching / on-field practice assistant
Timekeeper at games
Social media contributor
Program planning / facilitator (logistics for summer/winter clinics)
Anything else you think you can contribute!
Once again, communication will soon start from team coaches.
The Conshy Bulldogs Youth Lacrosse Club is a non-profit, volunteer run organization whose goal is to provide a positive and fun lacrosse experience for both boys and girls in Kindergarten through 8th grade.
We strive to develop and maintain a program where every participant, regardless of initial skill level, has the opportunity to learn the game; develop and improve skills; and be prepared for the next level of lacrosse - whether it be the next age group or on to the high school level. We attempt to field teams in all skill levels so that every participant is able to compete against players of similar skill and experience.
Our club serves all families that reside in the Colonial School District boundary and is the youth program for the Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School Lacrosse Program.
The Colonial Middle School and Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Lacrosse rosters are filled with current and past Conshy Bulldog players. Over the years, several former Conshy Bulldog participants have gone on to play college lacrosse after high school.
We welcome volunteers to assist with making the experience a positive one for all involved. If interested in getting involved, please contact us at
Thank you in advance Welcome to the Conshy Bulldogs!
